Whilst anaesthetising for a colonoscopy list the other day, that had many varied characters on it. I said to the medical student, "You see colonoscopies are like a box of chocolates, you never know what you're going to get."
And then he just looked at me like I was some sort of sage and nodded. There was no understanding of the reference. I think I'm done with young people!
Anyway, I think I'll have to vent some more of the horrors I've seen at work here another time.
